Indeed, winning has a price. The great ones understand this. The average one is whining about it.

If you served in the military you know exactly what he means about leadership having a price. It's a different price, and it's not a sport, and if you fail or your people fail, it could be catastrophic

Jordan is the Goat. Yes he was skilled, but the mindset is the true gem.

George Patton, along with other great leaders pushed you when you didn't want to be pushed, but most brought things out of you you didn't know you were capable of. It happened to me. So me and this person respected the fact that he and I were alpha males. But I needed him to teach me something that I really needed to learn but we'd bump heads, but he has some knowledge I needed to better my situation. At the end I was glad he wasn't going to teach me what I needed to know any other way but his way.If he had've done it my way I wouldn't have learned as much as I did.

There's a difference between playing for money and playing to win. MJ played to win, and because of the way he played, he got the money too. He was in lower 1/3 of the NBA on what the Bulls paid him until his last 2-3 years on the Bulls but he was the best player on the court almost the entire time.

That’s one way to trump the argument . Who is a better leader … there is no question and cannot be disputed … Micheal Jordan was the best team leader ever to play the game . Lebron doesn’t even qualify . He is trash as a leader .

Words well spoken.... I think that's something that a lot of people forget about is that he never asked anyone to do anything that he hasn't done or wasn't willing to do that's the definition of leadership. In the Arab basketball that Jordan played in that was an example of leadership at its best which resulted in six championships. With him still being the topic of of the GOAT conversation over 20 years after retiring from the game of basketball.
