Today we go back to the good old "Never Move Once" or "Dont Move" challenge. The concept is quite simple, really simple in fact: Don't move. No inputs. Or in the case of this game, no player caused movement since enemies can in theory push you.
In this first attempt we will do it without buffs on the enemies - and after doing it, I honestly don't know how we could even beat this, given how close it was. Even the most insane luck runs ended up failing, so this will take quite a lot to beat, or may even be impossible.

Fun fact: Time's skill "Alternation Ritual" can proc into legendary skills, including "Pandemonium". Upgraded skills remain upgraded even after "Pandemonium" disappears. It can happen several times during a run. So taking 1 level of the ritual then banishing it is a much better choice than just banishing is.

My guy, never underestimate the power of Force, especially with Merris using the infinite pull sign. Any level Force has been my top DPS and total damage done, especially if at lvl 5. I had Adept Force at lvl 5 do about 3.4 mil dmg.

true, i just do Time-Death-War run with Merris at 30 diff. The Adept force lv1 deal 1.1M dmg in the end of the run 😅never realize the extra sharp gain from time and death make the dmg triple lol

Force is one of the most powerful skill for Mage with Inifite Pull, it makes millions of damage, lvl1 is just enough

@6:35 Don't sleep on things. I've had runs where Force has been one of my top damage sources. I don't know how, it reads like it hits like a wet noodle. Mort's little on-hit Phantoms have also been some surprisingly beefy damage. I don't think almost anything in this game feels like Bracelet.

The phantoms are the best dmg skill in the game, followed closely by Force. Sometimes force even beats out soulstealers.

And he banished Adept Force, not only did he banish Adept Force, be he alterationed out of Mortis with a Novice Execution. Sure, it's just novice, but getting it so early on is GG 😂😂 Merris with infinite pull is great with Force, especially with Warped Strike + Execution from Mortis. Oh well, he'll eventually learn.

becuase of how the bosses and mobs attack in this game, no move challenges are really difficult to pull off unless you're really at end game.

Reprisal (chance to smite) is an effective tool against archers, stone gargoyles, and anyone who has a delayed attack (as shown by the red area that hurts you after a second) because it not only deals damage but also temporarily stuns the target, negating the attack altogether. It's really useful against the Baron's Left and Right hands because it can prevent them from using their attacks, particularly their long range dashes.

I'd say it's useful entirely for the stun, even at high rarity and level it's still garbage damage. But with high luck it happens often enough it's like a second form of evasion.

@@zmiananazwy4281 It does! The chance might be low, but even on the Baron's Left and Right Hands, it works. You may notice the Red one backing up to do its long-range attack, but then it'll get stunned for a second before moving in for its close-range attack.

This is hilarious, aside from the not moving part this is exactly how my 'win without taking damage' run went, almost the same choices and at the end instead of dodging he just missed me three times and I only had to dodge one attack and then finish him as he summoned the adds LOL. Meanwhile trying it on Skadi before had been a nightmare of dodging everything.

hmmmm this challenge sounds familiar, was quite challenging when I did it you made it seem super easy and had a way different strategy, but ggs solid run! bouta get back into playing got bored for a while but I have plenty of ideas to make the game harder.

I believe you do benefit from additional projectiles when you are using time’s bouncing attack. Whenever you split your attack projectile count it also splits the damage between them, meaning they’ll do less damage and in this case bounce and hit more people. This coupled with the fact that time’s attack drops gems PER HIT means that you’ll get a higher volume gems/buffs overall.

Hey Dex, nice Video! You can hold down Alt to show more info on some blessings. BTW the purple item at 20:00 is one of the best uniques in the game. It can apply 5 different debuffs.

I was 100% sure the run would end on the dragons but you actually surprised me XD this is probably a lot easier with the correct equipment i imagine, i would stack a lot of armor and evasion and also that modifier tha can heal 1 life on hit.

armor+eva, a lot of rolls/banishes/alterations with more master skill chance increases - healing not required. Wanna get justice, mort and time as gods.Also, passive XP gain is huge.

Looks Like this Game could be the First true competitor for VS for me. All the other Games Had some flaws, But this one Looks nice, added some new interesting features and still stays true to the Genre.

Dex, Winter and Summer have legendary dragons as skills, they could have obliterated everything. Time, Summer and Winter can clear the no movement challenge easily, especially with their legendaries and area of effect skills. Meteor Shower, Blight, the Frost Ring and Summer's guarding attack in conjunction with the area enlarging skill, the spell duration one and the immobilization one from Winter make it so you constantly generate ice floors that slow down enemies and deal damage to them while meteors pelt them constantly and with combustion the enemies also explode and with Summer's skill that increases spell power the build goes crazy. And that's without the summons. And don't knock the basic attack upgrades in combination with the gem high and the time field, much more potent and not worth the banishes, keep them for the movement abilities and Moirae abilities instead. It'll be much easier, especially if you give this character her infinite range ability from the bonfire. But yeah, a Mort-Lightning-Summer build with a chain-lightning summon focus and Meteor shower-Combustion back-up with the spell and defensive buffs is also doable.

Also Force and Alteration ritual are two of the most powerful skills in the game. Yeah, individually the damage might not look like much but do consider that with warped strike, you are spawning more and more experience shards, every single one of which gets the base damage + the multiplied experience as damage. That quickly adds up. Very quickly. Alteration ritual is so good because when every buff from level up last 60+ seconds, you are stacking skills like crazy. It's essentially a temporary free level up with every level up you get.

The HP removal of the ghosts does not matter. The only thing that matters is that they apply cursed which scales 3x with spell damage, including the damage from Mayhem. White soulstealers is fine.

1) For infinite pull Sorc, Force is the highest damage dealer, beating even Soulstealers. But this is probably only if you move. If someone banishes Force its a clear indicator they have no idea what they are doing. 2) Taste of Time might not seem like a lot, but its ALL enemies losing HP, constantly, It adds up. 3) On a no defense build, banishing skeletons makes zero sense, as you want as many summons to attack independent of you as possible then 4) Why waste so many Alterations re-rolling already good Master and Expert skills that you can take, only then to be forced to take a bunch of white and blue skills later, making the build way worse?

I did a summon run with mayhem not moving, and by the end of the run I had over 2k Spell power, and everything was hitting for 5-8k

I think this game needs a serious balancing. Some characters are insanely strong, while others are not only weak, but also (at least in my opinion) boring. Basic enemies could also use some movement rework, to make them a little more diverse, interesting or threatening, which we could see for example in Halls of Tournament.

My biggest problem in this run is summoner that keep summoning skeleton outside my screen, they cant be targeted, cant be countered. The only way to kill them is: 1. Time DoT legendary 2. Your attack somehow long enouh to reach them 3. Stray bullet
