This was really good. As a new player with less than 350 games played, this video really taught me the value of stat items and right click harass in the early game. I've played 5 games of skywrath after watching this and only lost one so far (Herald IV).

Great video, fun series) ty. I really like this: "You don't need to kill him. You just need to prevent him from last hitting". I get really frustrated when my cores chase enemies for no real reason, i stay in lane to last hit, they die than proceed to blame me for "no support".

Yeah, I think a lot of people overcommit thinking a kill will always be worth it, but there's definitely a line where it's not

@@ZQuixotix I have just played a game as PA and my support Undying consistently went after pos 3 Tidehunter, instead of pos 4 silencer… The moment I pinged & committed on Silencer, he died. I think there should be more videos on which heroes to target in lane with examples.

I'm in Guardian, and my support today started by flaming our mid for his hero pick, died immediately in lane, whiffed his spells so we died, flamed me for my skill build, and then got mad when I told him to stop telling everyone else how to play. This is a gratifying video series, is what I'm saying.

good and easy to follow logic, very helpful! But dislike the suggestion that if core is bad go core yourself. This already a really annoying problem where you get core players who are supporting for role queue, and are just looking for an excuse. Def its great to take resources that cores aren't making use of, but i've lost count of how many times i've had a support who sees one mistake and then decides they are the pos 1

Imo the most annoying part about these lower ranks is the variance in skill. Sometimes I get players who are completely brain damaged, like sentry blocks small camp for full 8mins, then they never pull anyways. Other times the pos 5 is already in position 30s before the creep spawn camping the small so I don't block it lol

When is it okay to die to tower as Skywrath in the laning stage? I also hesitate to do it because I don't want to tilt my team so is it really nessesary?

The ideal situation is you use up all your mana/HP getting a kill/really good trade. Then you die to tower to get full resources and show up in the lane again. Because you were assumedly being aggressive, you are closer to the T2 tower vs your own side. If you are low HP/mana in general, you could die to tower, but if you are near your own base, you could just walk home as well. It's a tough call sometimes. I'm not sure at what rank it becomes understood that it's normal play, so if your team frequently tilts out, then it's not a huge deal imo to just walk home.
