Because First Nations are living cultures and aren't flies frozen in amber to be subjected to some 'historic' colonial gaze? Do you go to Japan and demand to know why everyone isn't wearing Kimonos? For that matter, if English-Canadians are so English, why aren't they wearing waistcoats, pocket watches, and top hats? That's what English People wear in 'the history pictures' I look at, why aren't they wearing them now?

@@donho5808 Pretty sure you see more modern clothing on the streets of Tokyo than Kimonos, my guy. But I get it. Weeaboos going to operate inside their fantasy worlds. And again, I repeat the second point. If we are indeed so English Canadian, why are we not wearing waistcoats, top hats, and walking with canes? Why do gentlemen wear watches on their wrists, rather than attached to a chain connected to their waistcoat? If we are in fact so English.
