Not to be like that.. but this is all just guesswork, you dont know where MBT are or if the engine Will knock. Its prob more safe to add timing at maximum rpm due to in the torque peak maybe 4000rpm there is the biggest chance for knock..

late answer, but from what i know the answer is NO, you have to use another interface to pull an "image" (file) of the stock map from the car (example Kess v2) import that file to PC, open it in winols, change, compile, and flash new file with example Kess v2 (wich has its own interface and cable)

The reason why people use windows xp is because this is cracked software. People dont buy the real software and the method thats used in this video is not good tuning isnt done like this.

Your job only exists because manufacturers have spent millions in engine dynos, different engine prototypes, complex and refined control systems and countless testing hours to bring you a product that can run optimally upwards of 200000km with validated results. The amount of work you put in 3-5 dyno runs (if that actually happens) is nothing compared to the true effort involved in optimising an engine for a wide range of operating conditions. After all that is done you need to get the power delivery in harmony with the rolling chassis. That's when the optimising really begins and it truly is a high art. Be grateful, and share the knowledge.
