Damn shame what they've done to Crewe. That big empty space starting at 21.22 was supposed to be a big entertainment park, cinema and bowling alley and that, they knocked the shops down and built a huge multi-storey carpark... and then the entertainment park was cancelled. The town center used to be a lively bustling place, now it's half derelict and dead. Sad.

Haha I am from winsford lived here all my life .. and its not as bad as it Says .. like every town isn't it.. my mum and dad came here from liverpool with the chance to make a better life for a family.. given a new house ( on crook Lane est) was class on there when we were kids .. think every other person were scouse 😂 all my close friends who are still my mates family has the same story mum and dad moved here from liverpool .. is the same really .. the wolly backs didn't know what hit them when the over spill came over haha.. aww dave on the town there .. he's sound you know ❤ and the star bar so underrated... should be up there ..my 1st choice didn't know you had connections with old winnny haha.. might be a shit hole but the most of the people are golden ❤ great video ❤

This doesn't look like a bad area, the grassed areas look like they are cut. Most shopping centers now are full of charity shops, because the rents are too high. Also the big chain stores are falling by the way side.

Same in nearly all shopping centres now- units just taken up by charity shops, the odd discount book store if you’re lucky and the compulsory Greggs Bakery. On the high street it is then the vape shops, Turkish barbers and the beauty and nail salons. It’s so depressing to think what we had thirty or forty years ago, our shopping areas and markets were such a hive of activity. A place to go and have a mooch around and have a coffee and a bit of something to eat with your friends that hardly cost anything xx

worked in Winford a brickie ive worked with lived in crook lane he was a scouser, directley opposite from crook lane across the main rd are (so called) new flats and houses built around 22 years ago, we also built many Barrat houses in Winford, and crewe area which was directly across rd from Queens Park.

Theres such a depressing appearance in the surroundings, derelict council estates and the people of the area have to take control themselves of up-keeping the gardens, parks, streets and buildings. All work together and lift up the spirits of everyone for their kids future.
