i got the machine for christmas and i think my machine is faulty because when i do the stitches, at the back there is only loops, like they’re not even connected. It’s just loops

I have tried about 4 times to use this as I thought it would be handy to sew some socks… and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. When I click, it doesn’t seem to stitch anything. Is it just me?!? (I thought this would be easier than hand-sewing as I’m not great at that either, but it is most definitely not easy

It's very fiddly! I think you as you're clicking you have to pull along the piece at a slow pace at the same time. Honestly, hand sewing just seems easier and quicker.
