Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. In the future, if your paper tears, rub it with the back side of a spoon and that will help smooth the tear. Hope this helps as much as you have helped me. Blessings.

Hello @Ethan Duh. Thank you for dropping by my channel and your appreciation for my art ❤️ painting with inks is a different experience and it was fun to explore. If you are looking into buying and trying them, Winsor and Newton is definitely a good start but I highly recommend Rohrer and Klingner. I have also done a review video for that ink if you want to check it out. Rohrer and Klingner is definitely more vibrant that Winsor and Newton, still for the price of the set you get from Winsor and Newton-it is a good buy.

I loved watching you paint - also telling/explaining about the inks - so good! I did - sorry - find the music extremely irritating, so much prefer the peace of silence in between your lovely voice! re the paper tearing - you can avoid that by taking off your masking tape at an angle: lift the top then take it out at a straight angle to the painting and gently ease downwards, it then won't tear.

sometimes when i have trouble pulling off the tape, i will use a heating gun (or hair dryer) over it and then remove it slowly. for the palette staining i use mr. clean magic eraser or sheets. i use them often and they get the stain out i hope this helps :)

Sorry for the delay in replying, I believe I have added water on some colours but not on all. The brown ink was not very strong and I remember just pouring more inks from the pot when I used it instead of adding water.

Hello Deepti, unfortunately I have not used Winsor and Newton watercolour tubes before so I cannot compare them to that, I do have the Winsor and Newton Cotman set which are the watercolours in a pan. Comparing these inks to that-they are very different. The inks and the watercolour feels different on application. Some inks are not as vibrant as the others whereas the watercolours tend to be more uniform in terms of their vibrancy in a set. Saying that though, the paintings where I’ve used the inks have turned out to be very bright-brighter than using watercolours when they dry. This is tricky as my answer will be based on personal preference, I prefer to use watercolours instead of inks in my paintings. I feel like I am able to achieve the effects I want more effectively using watercolours than the inks. If you are after a bright/popping colours when your piece dries-I suggest to go for the inks. I hope my answer helps you in some way :) but only way to find out is try and have a feel of them. These inks won’t go to waste as you can always use them for calligraphy as well.

I am aware that some of my videos have whacked out audio and sounds, I am trying to find the best way to do it properly with the current equipment I have (which is literally just a mobile phone and headphones).
