Great find! I have a W&N Cotman 12 full pan set in a plastic palette that is 25-30 years old. I purchased it brand new, did a little painting, I put it away and forgot about it. I rediscovered it last summer sitting in a drawer. I rewet the pans and they rewet beautifully. I subsequently let the pans fully dry and put them away again. It’s too precious to me to use. I regard it as a family heirloom 😂! I have plenty of watercolors so I’m fine with not using this palette. 😊

Actually, Prussian Blue is still made with the same pigment, PB27.

Try using a stiff bristle brush to scrub the colour off the pan.

Good tip! I’ll try that.

@@MysteryArts I use an old oil brush to reactivate paints that are hard to rewet. The stiff bristles really do help to ‘scrub’ the paint. Very effective.
