Winston Broke His Arm!!

Hi everyone!! How awesome are my parents for surprising us with an Easter egg hunt?! We were so grateful!! Ummmm...then poor Winston broke his arm!! He's doing great, he is so dang tough!! It's been a little annoying for him, the cast drives him crazy! And it's his right arm, so he's been trying to do school work left handed!! But he's not giving up, I think thats pretty awesome!! First off the part when Winston gave Layla the egg was so stinkin cute I had to rewatch it!!!! ugh it warmed my heart so much! And then when you were explaining how you don't want to be over bearing because it's weird to ask for space but you want to be there for her just incase. I was able to see my Mom, Dad, and sister today. One half of myself wanted to cry and the other half was so thankful that we were able to see them. Even if I can't hug them! Can't for the day that all of us to hug each other again.

You are such an amazing mother Kayli! So understanding towards your children. They are so lucky you are their mom. The school adjustment is very difficult for the students. My daughter is also finding it challenging too. Sudden change takes more time to adjust too but they will adjust. And Winston is such a strong little man. As much as I couldn't stand some parts of high school, I couldn't imagine not going for the rest of the school year. That's your main social hub and it's your routine and "bubble" for most of the year. I hope you guys are able to find ways to adjust but give yourselves time. Kayli, you're an amazing mom and I loved how you gave brailee space but also let her know you were there if needed. I miss my students terribly (school counselor) and it's been an adjustment for me too.

Hi Kayli !Your kids are so adorable My thoughts are with Braille as i know her age is hard as it is. I almost started crying when i saw you and her sitting at the end of your video.. My daughter is 32 and its hard for her right now to.So i guess we all have to be strong right now, even though its very hard! Little Winston is so brave. Hes such a nice young boy! The last clip of you making sure Braillee is okay and just the clip with your two girls really made me miss my mom😭😭 she passed away 1/17/20, fighting for 7 years with cancer and her and I had such a strong close bond and she was such a brave, strong, happy mom that even towards her last days she would be worried about us and see if we needed anything. She’s very blessed to have such a great mom like you kayli!

Everyone has already said it but you are such an amazing mother. It's so nice that you just made yourself available for if Brailee needed to talk, I think it's easy to expect kids to just ask to talk or to try and get them to talk but sometimes it's good just to know that you're there and someone has made space for you to talk if you want/need to. Sitting with someone when you're sad is sometimes more comforting than talking about stuff. Stay safe xx

I remember my brother breaking his arm by thinking it would be easier to throw a blanket over a tree limb and before I could say anything he unfortunately fell unto the ground and broke it. My brother didn't want to say anything and he just went in and laid on the couch and my mom was like omg what happened. Needless to say it was broken and never set right. Im glad you got to enjoy your parent's and you can tell it made her so happy

So I'm a dance teacher doing live stream classes for the time being...and I swear we get one new broken bone a week from these kids! It's good that they're having fun playing outside though!

Great way to end the vlog. A little Mommy / Daughter time. I feel for the kids regarding school. They haven’t canceled the rest of the year yet for my 13 year old but I expect they most likely will. It’s currently canceled until at least May 15th and our school year ends at the end of June normally. So if they extend it beyond May 15th it’ll probably just be done for the year. Oh and tomato soup and grilled cheese is one of my favorite comfort meals! Sooo good!

This quarantine is getting to me too. My boyfriend of 10 years lives in Austin, Texas and I live there 10 months out of the year sometimes all year. This year I flew home for the holidays and am still stuck in California and don't know when I will see him again. I'm 41 and am also scared of getting my parents sick so I haven't left the house since March 14th. It's getting so depressing but I am trying to keep my mind busy by watching your videos and others and spending quality time with my parents and I have my little dog to help me through it all. Brailee keep your head up it's only a small time in your life that you will have to do whats best for all. Just think of it that one day you won't be at home with your parents and siblings and you will miss it. Life can go so fast so enjoy what you have now before you have to be a grown up, because you will miss it.

Our son and his girlfriend invited us to a video dinner. They made their dinner for 7 as did we, and we each ate our dinners in our own homes and visited for 3 hours! It's awesome!

I definitely think that having your parents over is not a huge deal. But important to note that if you’ve gone to the grocery store at all or left your house at all honestly, you could have contracted the virus and definitely can spread it to your parents. Like just because you have been “quarantined” for weeks, doesn’t mean you don’t have it. Just a good thing to remember for the family but also for any commenters.

I broke so many bones when I was younger! Kids heal so fast. They told my parents that when I broke my leg if I had been an adult it would have been several surgeries!
