No, actually he did not apologize. His statement was much more logical than a simple apology. He has nothing to apologize for

"Creative industries"? It is an industry, money oriented; it has very little to do with creativity. Artists do not think outside the box.

just like in a lot of other professions, some folk are better business people than others.... some artists are really business savvy, some are amazing but haven't a clue about money. Some builders are like that.... if they're amazing at business, they go on to become 'developers'....

It's sad to see so many desperate people seeking publicity whilst also afraid to hear the truth. They will be the first crying for assistance and compo when the world wakes up. Mandate truth and freedom not government drug dependancy.
@nevillebartos31972 жыл бұрын
It's not condescending at all that 'artists' think the stupid, naive general public need protecting from 'misinformation'. I myself take everything reported in the media at face value, and I act accordingly. I'm so grateful more discerning minds, like Neil Young and Stewart Lee, are there to protect me from myself. I'm also grateful the media understands I'm too stupid to realise that jokes told by comedians aren't meant to be taken seriously, and that those jokes don't necessarily reflect the true opinions of the comedian. Hopefully between them the government, media and social media will sanitise society to such a degree that in the future I won't need to worry about thinking at all.

NY didn't ask for JR to be deplatformed. His initial open letter asked for his music to be removed from the outset. Funny how GBN hasn't commented on JR using racially derogatory language and likening being in a cinema with black people with being on Planet of the Apes. 🙄
@LargeChap2 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely clueless if you think Joe Rogan is racist in the slightest.
@HendoCalrissian2 жыл бұрын
@@LargeChap that's not an arguement. Just saying. Truth is neither of us know for certain whether he's racist. But I'm working off the back that he's compared black neighbourhoods to planet of the apes and you're working off the back that you're a fan or maybe you're political ideology aligns with his. I know which makes more sense. Either way that wasn't my point. My point was that GBN is being super bias in continuing to report this souly as a freedom of speech issue and entirely failing to report on other issues which have come to light. Seems odd for a "news" source to do. But I'm not entirely surprised giving it's GBN.
