I spent summers in Chickasha back in the mid 70's and early 80's with my grandpa. Fond memories of seeing Rock Island, Frisco, then The Katy all running trains around the area. The grain elevator and the old Rock Island depot were almost daily trips. I haven't been to Chickasha in over 15 years. I think a railfan trip is in order soon.

Great catches, really like the "Twilight" films..I have got to see this rig in Enid many times.. Gotta love those engines, with the big grande Flag blazing on the sides ! I am off in few days..Gotta go chase the Big Boy, 1404 across Texas... Happy Trails !

Great videos. If your interested assuming your still chasing I can and will give you approximate times trains will show up in Chickasaw and el reno so you won't be driving over for nothing. I'm a UPRR conductor in roseville ca but yukon ok is my home town. let me know
