Those wheels are BEAUTIFUL! When you showed their colour, my immediate response was, WOW... and then to see them on your car... I am envious. The caliper colour and the wheel colour is so very close in terms of shade, but I still find it quite striking.

Did you ever think about some sort of protectant for the arches? Since once properly cleaned there is quite a lovely base for some rust protectant like fluid film.

Very thorough arch details and very informative video. You are a Prince. Have you considered spraying the carpet liners in the rear arches with something like Gtechniq Smart Fabric, to make the next clean easier?

Did my wheel arches today and finished off with Bilt hamber dynex UC and car pro pearl on the plastic liners. Do it every December and they come up like new. Oh did a good wheel clean while they’re off and gave them a coat off fusso soft 99 also looking like new .👍

Nice wheels. When lock down finishes I am getting my 19" BMW M437 wheels refurbished, then powder coated in "illusion cherry red," a powder coat imported from the states. They go on my BMW F10 M SPORT in alpine white with gloss black roof, side skirt extensions, grills and front airsplitter. The car is lowered but only by 15mm as M Sport models are already lower than standard models. Hopefully it will look as good as ur motor with the red wheels on!

As always great video, some reason YT unsubscribed me so re subbed. Any ideas how to bring back diamond cut alloys to shine. My front alloys look dull and the rears fine. I used safe cleaner for the alloys. I have looked around and not found much help.

My best tip, if you have a Karcher pressure washer.. Use the dirt blaster lance for the carpet arches. does the best job IMO. Try it! :)

I previously owned a used 97 camry & had to junk because of rust.. Excellent tutorial! I TOO, am a fanatic! I now own a 2019 prius (sorry, my muscle car days are gone). Anywho, I remember all the rusted parts I'd clean & touch up with paint. Car was 21 yrs old! If I had gotten new, been better.. My ONLY critism was bott of your fender well. Cracking job as always. Think the new alloys look great. Please remember though to always use axle stands when working on the underside of a vehicle if wheels are removed. Never rely solely on a jack for support. Apologies if you had the 370Z supported with axle stands, I just didn't notice any during the video.

I like autofinesse Satin cream for tyres easy to apply and gives a lovely “satin” finish. Difficult to apply when lots of texture on tyre side wall. I then use Gtechniq T2 and a brush. Like the video a down to earth detailing video for real world situations and needs.

It’s very pretty, but you’re right, a change in calliper colour might be in order, if possible, have a look at the EBC coated discs, make it pop with the red

Damn, guessed the color of the rims right away. i remember having a white nismo gt-r as my wallpaper for years in the same color, i think even the same spoke design. Looked too good to not be replicated, as there isn't many cars that i've met in this color combination. Great choice.

Too much hassle for someone without a unit or garage. The quick ceramic spray ‘coating’ applied is more than enough for surfaces that see regular maintenance cleaning imo.

Hey CCG, have you heard of a company called Lanogaurd? Their marine or moto spray would be great in the arches vs the water based dressing, from what i have seen it will leave a nice satin finish but withstand salt water and pressure washing for neigh on a year!
