The John Deere combines over there are sure different than the ones here in the U.S. I've never heard of a 1177 John Deere combine

thedonleroy yes there are many different models which are exclusive for the European market. There was the 10-Series (e.g. the 1075 combine), the 11-series from the video, the 20 and the 22-Series (e.g. 2066, 2266).... and so on. On the other hand John Deere only offered one type STS combine here. It was the 9880(i) STS.. I know that you have had more models to choose from, but does the 9880 even exist as a model in North America?

I know a farmer local to me near Oxford in England who used to own a John Deere 8820 Titan that come over from America. He said it was a nice machine but it couldn't deal with our crop conditions. Im sure he said that it kept breaking counter shafts. After having to get a couple of shafts a season over from America he decided to sell it on. I also know a fella who has 1947 John Deere 55 combine for sale. It was 1 of 2 that came over for trails before John Deere started building combines for the European market in the old Lanz factory Germany. I would love to buy that 55 but its to big for me to store and transport.
