Eres la chica que le da las gracias por ser parte de su historia? Cuando lo ví por primera vez, me pareció muy bonito tu gesto, y en especial la honestidad y admiración con la que se lo decias (suponiendo que fueras la chica que digo). Estoy volviendo a ver sus vídeos, y este es uno de mis capítulos favoritos. Una de las muchas razones por las que me gustaban tantísimo sus vídeos, era ver la gente buena con la que Iohan se encontraba. Gente hospitalaria que le abría las puertas de su casa, le ayudaba, etc. Era inspirador y un recordatorio de que el mundo y la gente, pese a que parece que vivamos en tiempos raros y desconectados/enfadados todos, la gente buena seguía ahi. I've had equipment failures while on expedition bicycle trips but they don't compare to this! "The good news is that I am traveling lighter now." Love it!

IOHAN A tip from a Canadain boy who drives hiscbikecin the snow all winter. Melt 1 part ski base wax "perifin" 1 part bees wax and one part grease like vaseline. Then paint it hot on your rims derailer and bottom of your frame. The snow wont stick and pile up. It looks a bit funny but it's worth it to not pull all that snow. It also helps alot with road salt and even works on your chaining light coats.

As a straight male, I am not ashamed to say I love you. You are such a good human. You give so much to us, the viewer, as you feed your own soul. I have watched every video, twice at least, and always shed a tear and audibly gasp in wonder during each one. I know I'm not alone in these sentiments, as the outpouring of love and admiration in the comments of every video testify. Iohan, you've had good stories with dogs on your long journey, not to mention "The Shadow of Ausangate", but this one is wonderfully incredible, great dog "Shadow" the one in this story and it's not because it's Chilean, I think it represents very well what is a Chilean "quiltro" (that is how dogs that do not have a defined breed are called) good companion, well groomed, at all endurance, but when they catch him doing something indecent, it is better to start. Good luck on your next adventure in Argentina and when you finish there, return to southern Chile but in summer, it is even more beautiful.
