I just shared it on my FB timeline....we have no snow down here in my part of Indiana. Farmers say it hasn't been this warm for such a long time since 1963, back then they were plowing fields in Jan. and Feb, Love global warming, but hoping for a little snow to play in sometime....LOL....I shot a doe last Oct and we had snow on the ground then....crazy winter down here.

I'm so excited for this!! I always watch these before going to bed until I fall asleep (lol) then continue the next night. This is so relaxing to me, I used to go camping with my dad, brother and our two dogs. We would go on snowmobiles far into the woods and stay overnight. Now I live in the city because I had to move to get to the school I wanted. I don't hate it here but I miss just being in the middle on nowhere in complete silence and your videos help with that 🥰

I just notice that I clean the bathroom, kitchen. And kept cleaning the house, while I told the girls to clean their room all while this video was playing. I just love your channel and is so relaxing. I really admire u! Winter camping is tough! Not easy! Lots of work and u enjoy doing it to entertain us. As for Monty, lots of patience waiting for his daddy to do all that. End of it all it’s the dinner for reward but dinner also don’t come easy. I think all in all 2-3 hrs to prepare and cook dinner . Kudos to you and your dogs and thank u for the entertainment . Two of my best investments were an old tall, tall 1950s sauce pan, Cost about £1 and a large deep 70s stainless steel frying pan with pirex lid both from a flee market And some barbecue tongs no burn hands. I can’t get enough Monty. His lil nose when he’s all tucked in. How you know he has to make peepers in the morning but it’s more important to him to give you some kisses first. Dogs are the best. I sure wish I could trust my Saint Bernard/collie mix off leash but he would be GONE. I try not to take it personally but yeah, it stings a bit lol.

I’ve only found your videos through my recommended list, recently, and I am in love with your winter bushcrafting videos. I have to admit that I wait to watch ad i go to bed because I find your videos SO relaxing that i just fall asleep. I haven’t had nightmares or restless sleeps since falling asleep to them. That breakfast you made on day 2 - In my hometown there's a popular cafe that does it like that. It's called "The Mess". It's eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, onions, chopped tomatoes all cooked together, and then some sour cream dolloped on top when it comes out.

Hi Matthew and friends of Matthew, I just discovered this channel and am already hooked! I was quite a camper in my youth, but now age and physical decline has taken that out of my life. Watching your videos reminds me of my youthful trips and makes me happy. I especially enjoy that you are having so much fun, and you have such a great sense of humor. When you make a mistake, you don't edit it out-you post it, laugh at it, and continue onward. I used to talk to myself/my dog(s) when we were out for a trip just as you do...your commentary makes me feel like I'm there with you, sitting on a camp stool, staring into the never-ending entertainment called a campfire. I especially love your cooking episodes! LOVED the Shepard's breakfast! By the way, you can make the tomato soup less chunky and much richer if you use diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Anyway, your show has done wonders to lift my spirits and heal the depression that seems to come along with getting older and losing opportunities for the activities I loved so much.
