VERY nice setup, it got down really cold but that canvas really seemed like it held in the heat well. Great video!!!
@TRoysAdventures2 жыл бұрын
It sure did, the canvas tent is really heavy but well worth it in cold weather. I also used my Pathfinder thermal emergency shelter tarp on the ground, kept the cold ground temperature out too. Thanks!

LOVE that setup! My Timber Wolf 3 is enroute! My next purchase is that hammock tent along with those shelves for the stove! I love cooking over cast iron and that steak and potatoes looked awesome!

Awesome, it's very nice! Yes the tent keep me very warm overnight and those shelves really came in handy while cooking! That cast iron was great on the stove, I definitely ate too much that night 🤣 Thanks!

Alright, grits! My kind of guy. My kind of cooking. Nice video. 👍 Might be a silly question here but just thought I’d ask-can you show how to make some of those knots? Thank you. Kind regards. -Tammy

My cousin has recently been trying to get me into hammock camping. I’ve always tent camped for as long as I can remember, but a set up like yours might change my mind. Great video brother!! Liked and Subscribed!!

I was the same, always tent camped. If you get the right hammock it makes all the difference, I sleep great. Thanks for the sub!!

@@TRoysAdventures Thanks for the video! Until now I never knew anything like this existed. I had no clue you could put a stove in a hammock setup. I love winter camping and was on here looking at hot tent setups when I came across this. Great job showing it and the whole adventure!!

@@mullisoutdoors Definitely a game changer! It really does keep me very warm in there, and doubles as a great stove to cook on too! Thanks for watching!

Greetings and love from Pakistan. You do have one really sharp knife whis cuts through anything like butter, how do you maintain it? Please do a video of that. Please share product details for the salt and pepper shakers used at 9:20. Really like to have one.

Greetings! I have a belt sander knife sharpener at home I use to keep the edge sharp, start with 600 grit a few passes, then 1000 grit and finish with a leather strop and buffing compound. I bought the seasoning shaker from a local food store here, it has several different spices.

Great video. Got the same tarp. I clipped the gable ends together with a couple of spring clamps. I also replaced the pegs with gutter spikes. Really loving the tarp very versatile and can be setup in other configurations . Cheers from Cape breton Canada

Do you have any regrets about that hammock hat tent?takein a pool befer I pull the trigger......
@TRoysAdventures Жыл бұрын
It was a great price, I was skeptical but it’s legit. Very well constructed and expect to last a long time. That being said it’s heavy and cumbersome to setup by yourself. That’s a sacrifice I’ll take for a sturdy shelter. Also one other negative, if your hammock swings too far you’ll burn it fast on the stove pipe. Have to be careful with that. Its really only a one man, you’ll want a cabin style if you need more room.
@ahilbilyredneksopinion Жыл бұрын
@@TRoysAdventures very helpful.thanks a lot fer that.i do need the room.ill get a different one first and this one second. I still want it.thanks again.
