I know where you are Gaz I've checked it out before but never stayed there. Without doubt it looks well worthwhile. It's a really varied sight and picturesque to. Great stuff as was the food as always. Yeah lovely winter misty scene mate with some good filming. I have to admit buddy I was expecting a swim. At least you had a dip, which was brave of you in that fridged water. Well, good going. All the best up there. Mark

Haha I'll have to go for a proper swim next time, we stayed and had a swim in the river but I didn't film it all,was bloody freezing though, took my breath away when I first fell in, was a good laugh though we enjoyed it, the campsite was awesome, definitely going back again, nice one Mark , all the best 👍

Yeh it was a nice feeling afterwards, toes were starting to freeze though, very refreshing though once I warmed up again, someone said it's supposed to be good for you now and then really cold water,. Have a good weekend mate 👍

Quite a unique campsite, by the looks of it. I've seen a couple of similar "wild" riverside sites around the Brecon Beacons - the type you only discover by accident as they don't advertise as much. I've yet to try one myself but I can certainly see the appeal at any time of the year. As for the dip in the river... I think it's brave enough of anyone to go camping at this time of year!! ;-) Thanks for sharing and all the best.

I can almost smell the fresh air there I love it there where you are every thing looks so clean . Nice tent set up near the river peaceful no people awesome beautiful spot for sure and looks like a wild camp too. Wow, amazing filming mate! liked the frame on boiling the water for coffee and the drifted wood on the beach. Wild winter swimming too. Just recently I swam on the beach with 10 degrees Celsius temperature. Thumbs up and happy weekend mate.

Bloody hell mate. Thats lovely been on the hills is a different kimd of quiet. If you no what i mean. That pic you did at the end of walk way. Outstanding. You gotta think I'm a bit soft, but when I'm out on the hills an i see the sun coming up down in the valley is the mist forming an it gets light up by the sun. Great site - used to take the kids there in the summer (pizza man with an oven on a trailer comes round!). Rammed in the summer months.... Parts of Tomb raider was also filmed there...great walks up Snowdon from there too. Nice vid - keep it up!!

Great location that - once did a film there as an extra on horse back with Sam Neill - King Arthur inspired for US network. All good fun. Got me thinking now about maybe doing a camp out over the festive period. 👍

Must admit, I liked that tent as well and very roomy inside as well. Not a fan of prawns but they did look tasty in that sauce and the fire must have kept things nice and toasty. Good thing at this time of year is you almost had the whole site to yourself.Loved the old footbridge over the river and I was expecting to see the wild swim there......Mist over the lake was a bonus though, great shot! We met a load of hippie scouse school teachers who were stoned off their nuts. lol. That was the highest they got up mount Snowdon.

We had a swim in the river, only filmed us going in though my camera was balancing on a rock so didn't want to leave it there too long, the king prawn balti was nice, used pasta instead of rice though, it's a cracking site for a winter camp, it was a nice pitch by the river, cheers mate 👍 ATB

Beautiful Gaziano. Loved the lake scenes. I always base camp in the winter. I can't drive anymore so use public transport. Winter gear is too heavy to schlepp miles.
