Hi can you guys explain , the term fizzing ,, and what to look for before choosing a spot to fish at any dam

Hi there.......So my knowladge on carp fishing is very minimal and I am still a rookie when it comes to carp fishing. Although I can answer your question about the term fizzing. Fizzing is when you see a lot of small bubbles on the surface, kinda like when you pour a fresh glass of coke. If you see this(fizzing) on the surface it mean that the fish are feeding in this area. This could potentially be a high percentage area to place your hook bait onto. This doesn't mean you will always get a fish, but it is a good to try and see if the fish will come to the spot.

When it comes to finding a high percentage area to fish. Try look for structure. Reeds, over hanging trees or even grass. This holds fish you might have a higher chance of catching fish.

Fly fishing isn't my game but i am keen to learn and I have alot of interest for it. The edenvale quarry has turned into a trout farm and it's strictly only fly fishing.
