While a master angler himself, Iain Macmillan was such a humble and dignified human being. His respect for Bart was so gracious. No wonder companies like Shimano wanted Iain as a brand ambassador. Iain's presence will be missed on and off the bank, and my only regret is not following him in his angling journey earlier. Rest in eternal peace I.M, your family and the angling world miss you. Well done Bart for such a golden session too.

More to carping than boilies they'll eat anything chick peas, corn , luncheon meat, pepperami, hemp ,maize, dog food most of which you can get from supermarkets. I even make my own goo with smoke half a litre for the same price as a bottle of korda stuff
@paulfranciosi6474 жыл бұрын
@@lionsroar9811 I think I pay 18quid for 5ltr gylcerine then dyes flavours other additives ,works and much cheaper.

for 20kg of boilees 2 tubs of pop ups and a litre of spomb mix £120 bargain if you ask me

@@paulfranciosi647 try a big boots store. 2.50 a litre of vegetable glycerine corn flower to thicken fluroresin from screwfix to make the smoke and colour flavour of choice just as good as korda stuff

@@lionsroar9811 cheers mate I get the 5 litres container from British Aqua feeds the vegetable glycerine I don't put in the fluroresin I have been meaning I basically make the same mate I make baits to sell so I put loads of additives in others don't.

@@LiamJProduction fish slack lines if you can not near snags or islands or tips in water there are ways but if its light its easier to watch your line and play yourself out of trouble back leads are bad for bite indication i used them last night in the dark had 4 runs and got all 4 in so my point is they dont necessarily cost you bites

Just one gripe we all no what a carp looks like hold it up to the camera for a few seconds both sides then put it bacķ and then talk about how you went about catching it. Holding the fish and talking shit for 5 mins really annoys me but despite the rant i like these vids.
@andyenkel67814 жыл бұрын
I watch all these so called top anglers show us the way how NOT to fish, spod at range ,wrong,98 per cent of all big carp ever landed are from no more than ten foot from the bank ,just use you're eyes🤣
@Shayflannel4 жыл бұрын
yeah not on all lakes angling pressure pushes fish to the middle on lakes like b1 you go there and fish the margins and let bart fish at range see who has the better session
@paulfranciosi6474 жыл бұрын
I've been carping since 1979 and started course fishing in 77 always do my own thing had to learn years ago by being on the bank wasent many carp books out in the early days.

@@Shayflannel I've fished high pressured waters still caught fish in the margins just depends on the water.

@@paulfranciosi647 look its not a competition when you started is it and i prefer the kind of fishing you are stating its 90% of the fishing I do but my point is lakes like b1 the majority of the fish are pushed out to middle you could nick the odd bite from a swim with a decent margin but you wouldnt have a session like bart had
@paulfranciosi6474 жыл бұрын
@@Shayflannel A bit harsh don't you think.I would have a great sesh simply I'm not daft and obviously would do my work.If I wasent catching on one rod in the margins I would move it.
