Man that is my back yard! I thought the cleaning shed looked familiar and then at the 0:26 mark I knew it was Truman and Bucksaw marina. Josh (best friend) and I fished there quite a bit. When he found out he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer I booked a guided trip with Joshua Jackson (good friend and amazing guide) and the day before we were supposed to go I was exposed to covid. With Josh getting chemo I didn't want to expose him so we decided to postpone the trip. We were hoping for nice weather to come back but we ran out of time. He fought for 4 months.

Dropshot with a little 2-3 inch plastic worm is the best way to do it. Also if the crappie fishing slows down use the cheek of a crappie on the same dropshot.

My uncle's pond had a 17in 2.9lb crappie caught three years ago. It was the first crappie I had ever seen so I didn't realize what a truly impressive fish it was. The pond was only two years old and had only been stocked with catfish and minnows.
