Rachel, honey should not be heated/cooked. It loses many of its benefits, check it online. My grandfather is a beekeeper and he doesn't even let us put it in the tea :) PS: Love your channel, your voice is so soothing to listen to and you have an abundance of good ideas!

The soup looks so delicious !! if you are a tea person like me try this you will loove it : 1 cup of milk ,1 tea bag , 1\4 ts of powder ginger ,1\4 ts of cardamom ground and leave it on medium heat for about 10-15M or until the milk changes color to to light brown .

My favorite "milk bath" is to combine dehydrated milk (I keep it under my bathroom sink and pour it in the tub!), epsom salt & essential oils. I like to use lavender and bergamot to scent. Love the idea of using almond milk though!

I made the Chicken Tortilla Soup for my fiance' and he absolutely loved it!! I didn't have any black beans on hand, so I improvised and used a can of chili beans. I also added some cayenne pepper because he likes it spicy. It turned out SO good!!!

YES.. it's almost always warm here. We traveled a lot recently and it was kinda refreshing to experience cooler weather. For this video, I filmed it the day after it rained so it was actually pretty chilly for us here. haha It worked out great, because I wanted to film one of these this year.. Now i'm trying to get inspired with Thanksgiving & Christmas BUT it's still warm... arg... I probably shouldn't complain, but it would be nice to have more days like we did on this day.

I hear you haha. My mom graciously watches my son & his two cousins (my brothers kids) every once and a while on Friday-Sat, depending on her work/school schedule. That's why my son wasn't in this particular video. Usually he's playing with his toys in that room in the mornings, and we eat dinner as a family together etc. I hear its a totally different scenario with two kids, but In general, I do try to squeeze in some 'me time' during his quiet times or after he goes to bed at night. I rarely take baths nowadays, although they are so lovely when I get the chance to. It's usually just a quick shower in the morning. haha Thanks for watching

Loved this Rachel!! I notice you use honey quite a bit, just a tip.. when you add honey to anything hot it automatically turns into a toxin, that also includes baking with it. Better alternatives are maple syrup, agave or date syrup. Although, honey is best mixed in luke warm or cold beverages/foods. Just some food for thought :) xox!!

Not really sure why, but I heard it on a radio show from a natural path doctor who was totally against it. I used to put raw honey in my coffee years ago until I started feeling weird, after I'd discovered it I stopped doing that and I felt so much better. Apparently it turns into a glue, and disturbes the digestive tract.

I think you can just put stuff in a pot, and then cook on wharm, or low for the same time!

Savana is right. You can put it in a pot and cook it on low for the same amount of time. Just can't leave it on the stove and leave the house =) BUT I just saw a Crockpot on sale at Target for $25. It's the best.. I might give a few away on my channel. I use it ALL the time
