He’s cooking with his family, who he has respect for. He just gets angry because chefs think they are way better than they actually are, and when Gordon doesn’t get the result of his expectations that is when he gets angry

Yes, it is his true nature when he is at home. You can tell they are all very close to one another, in every video you see of them, as there is such genuine warmth, humour, natural competitiveness when appropriate, and a lot of equal learning. They’re affectionate with one another too. It’s great to see Gordon teaching his cooking skills to his kids, helping them learn, as they identify ingredients by smelling them too. Seeing Tilly and the kids here, they’re so young.
