Just love this bike!!! I am a 50 years old beginner and I really do considere to buy this beauty as my first bike even if my friends told me to take a bike with 300 to 500cc and then go to the SV...thanx for the nice video and regards from Serbia 🇷🇸✌️

@@motorausch My dream was to be a biker, and even at my age it's never to late 😉. I saw lot of bikes, but I have a good feeling with the SV, just this is the one 😎. Thanx and ride safe bro ✌️
@TrustyZ900 Жыл бұрын
You probably already purchased a bike, but if you didn't, don't mess around and get a small bike. The SV is perfect for beginners. You'll end up losing money if you step up to the SV from something else. I have a '23 blue SV and it's a real sweetheart.

very pleasent ride... Besides the headlights popping up on you.. I almost died watching that lol. It's good to see a beginner riding the nice scenic roads, learning and adapting. A good set of skills you are creating. Can't wait to see how the bike grows on you. One day when I get a bike ( I like the SV650) I hope I get to have this much fun!

@nickclarkuk I ended up with rv125 VanVan and a Vstrom 1050xt. And believeth or not I actually prefer the little bike. Thanks for asking. Hope you're ok and ride safe.
@nickclarkuk3 ай бұрын
@ there is a lot to be said for riding a small light bike 💨. What do you prefer about it ? I’m riding a cb500f and still enjoying it but fancy a small upgrade in power
@speedjunkie783 ай бұрын
@@nickclarkuk Well the VanVan is light, nimble and just enough to keep up with the traffic while commuting and very capable off road ( deep and loose sand in the area). The Vstrom is great for touring, but other than that it's too heavy and powerful. It makes me do stupid things. The power is so addictive. Sometimes, I question myself after riding. I have 3 toddlers and I have to be smarter. On the other hand, the VanVan always puts smile on my face, and never scares me.
@nickclarkuk3 ай бұрын
@ yeah I totally understand how being a dad changes how you enjoy riding . I stopped enjoying motocross and gave up for the same reason. I have an 18 year older daughter now but she’s autistic and completely dependant on me. I occasionally do silly things on my cb500f and think if I’d been on a faster bike i may not have gotten away with it. Hence any upgrade in power has to be small. Stay safe !

The sound of this bike and your video is really hypnotic-like :) .. I'm not a rider myself {not just yet}, but at 5:55 i would like to ask you why didn't you use the left side of the road while going around the parked vehicle (like the cars did ahead of you)? Maybe the video is not in a good angle and you could see ahead of the car, but it looks like the cars that were going in the opposite direction, would have a hard time seeing you = you're putting yourself in danger. Just my opinion. Maybe it really didn't looked like that in reality. Wish you many happy kilometers.

You need to change gears faster.get your left-foot ready. flick the (throttle off clutch in foot up)(clutch out throttle on) all together very quick. Makes for a smoother change. Also rev matching on the way down.

great bike! but hell man you really need to learn how to lower gears to break nicely. practice it as much as you can it will save your life if you do. pressing the clutch and lowering all the gears is gonna get you as a sticker in a car's window. Dude when u down shift u should apply throttle to match rev of gear and wheel. Brrr during downshift - it's not show off. Loosing grip on rear wheel is not good. 8:50 passing on an intersection is a huge no-no, especially how close to that car you started. If he suddenly stopped you would hit his corner, also another car could've been coming out to your left lane. Never do that!
@Greddi3 жыл бұрын
What are you on about? The visibilty is clear, there was no other cars around. And cars don't suddenly stop quick enought for you not be able to react.
@tomclanys3 жыл бұрын
@@Greddi Yes they do, especially how close he was to the car corner when passing him. You want to fly above the bars when slamming front brakes? If for any reason the car decided to slightly turn to the left before going into the intersection he would be hit. Above all, it's dumb as hell to pass on any intersections other than where it's allowed to.
@Greddi3 жыл бұрын
@@tomclanys The car was slowing down, I guess around 30 km/h by the time he was passing. Sudden movement to the left is unlikely. Slamming the brakes in 45km/h does not make you fly. If any, you swirl.
