i like that you pay shearer with wool but do wonder why shear sheep in winter... if sheep are uncomfy with long hair, why not just cut it shorter, till spring ? (& how did wild sheep keep hair from getting too long 😮 wouldn't they be warmer

Where does the hay come from? I suppose it is harvested in warmer months? I'm so curious about farming in cold climates.

Yes, we grow and harvest hay during summer and stock up for the whole winter. :)

You know there is wild sheep in the mountains of Norway with less insulation than domesticated sheep right? I have never seen a moose, deer, sheep or cow with footware in my life, and am from the real cold north, not whatever city you're from
