I remember a trip to Yellowstone where we were sitting on a snow covered deck watching the sky filled with stars along with a full moon glistening on the snow and heard the wolves howling in the distance. It felt so right and that memory will stay with me forever.

Thank you so much for posting this video. As an old livestock man, I believe that wolves and the other predators have a place in our world. Doug Smith does an excellent job of telling the wolves' story.

How can you possible say that attitudes have changed for the reintroduction to be successful when the semi-official policies of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana is to eradicate 90% of wolves by any means? There doesn't seem to be any limitation on how wolves are killed, hunting and trapping throughout the year and no bag limits. Wolf hatred is present and strong. It seems the work you and your peers have done will be undone through official policy. How do you feel about that and what are you advocating to prevent the total eradication again?

Why are wolves hard to live with animals. I was born and raised in Alaska. We had tons of wolves around. Yes, we did trap for furs in the '70s & '80s. However, I was there and we did not dent the population. The only thing that is hard about living in wolf county is being a lazy human. Not fencing your livestock not building or fencing your sleddog kennels basically only people that have a problem with wolves are lazy Americans that don't maintain and properly protect their property for the environment they live in. Then they blame the wolf for their lazy ignorance. This is not opinion experienced fact.!!!

It tears me everytime I watched picture like that. Human can be so evil (hunter & bunties etc..)..Let them live way they want...they don't bother our lives, why you do kill the wolves?

Humans....Wolves were here before us..I'm human too but I'm so shame od these people who are killing wolves. They let their cow & sheeps glrazing in public land, so it's fair game public land belong to them too. If you don't like, get a own land!
