I know you're not exactly following the curly girl method, but you are one of the very few content creators who still focuses on "wholesome" hair products for curly and wavy hair, and I love that!! Your videos are fun and educational, and you stand your ground on what you believe in! I respect and admire that!

Perfect Timing! I live in Upstate NY, and yes, my hair has been going through a "time". I actually got out the humidifier today because my house plants were looking sad. My last two wash days, I did actually use a deep conditioning mask as conditioner. I'm going to play with some styler combos that haven't worked well for Spring/Summer. I actually broke out a curling wand today, and I really don't want to go back to that. Thank you for the friendly reminder and great tips on seasonal adjustments.

I live in Colorado which is quite dry, humidity was 37% in my area today and last month my waves were falling and struggling. I figured out i just need to keep my hair sopping wet at every stage of the pre diffusing styling process. My waves have bounced right back with this step.

Definitely cookies especially sour cream sugar cookies and chocolate crinkles. Yum! Another great video! I’ve been having great wash days with Texluxe gel and Aerogel hairspray. I live in FL so we have plenty of humidity. That combo helps with frizz. I did notice a few weeks ago that I need a tiny bit of leave-in conditioner. When I first got Treluxe gel, I didn’t like it until your video a few months ago that mentioned not using anything under the gel, when I tried that it made all the difference. Thank you for that tidbit! Also, stirring the gel helps. I had gotten a new tub and I wasn’t liking it as much. I stirred it with my finger and that made all the difference. I like the Ecoslay OM but haven’t tried it over Treluxe gel, I’ll have to give that a try.

I have been making rice krispie squares with the added salt, vanilla, and extra marshmallows added at the end, and I can't leave them alone! They are so good. And I've never been big on rice Krispies but I think it's just the recipe that's so good. It also has extra butter I think.

I live in Washington and the winter weather is rather wet, frigid, and humid. I still like to clarify every other wash and break out the deep conditioner and curl cream. Since I have finer hair I'll normally use regular conditioner and/or leave in conditioner. I need all the hold and grit when I do a curly hair routine.

Very good observation and a fact. I remember reading a book about beauty when I was a teenager and the author talked about the lack of protein in our diets will affect our hair health. I was becoming a vegetarian and wanted to be a healthy vegetarian. I decided to still eat eggs and I notice how much thicker my hair is and taking a supplement of cal/mag with Vitamin D & Zinc. Fish oil also helps my joints, skin, hair and as you mentioned exercise. Everyone’s body is different and this is what works for me. I hope this cold weather isn’t exacerbating your RA. Thank you for the video and the review of Tre Luxe. I have that gel and forgot how good it is. Bless you xx 🎄🕊️😻

I'm so enjoying bingeing on your videos. I love the way you explain things & act just like one of us instead of like some others do & talk like you're preaching to us, I'm brand new at this & trying to learn what I need to know. I have a question that I'm hoping you can answer. My hair used to be light/medium brown but now (I'm 54) it's turned a light/medium blonde with gray through out. I've been doing the strand testing to see what it needs & I've realized that all of them I've seen are like 2 different colors or something. You can definitely see where the blonde part shines but then there's these dark places in between all the way down the hair some are like 1/4 inch & some are closer. Could you tell me what that means? It's like zebra stripes. It'll stretch some & then break, if that helps. Thank you so very much for sharing these journeys with us & telling it exactly like it is. ❤❤❤

Courtney, if the budget only allows for purchasing one product at a time, which would be your first two purchased? My scalp has gotten dry and itchy and my hair dry. Considering a scalp oil treatment. A leave in conditioner (Blueberry Bliss) has helped my hair. I've been researching more moisturizing shampoos.
