Best places to visit in Lofoten, Norway. Highlights of our February 2024 trip to Lofoten. Very lucky to see the most stunning light show on Earth, the Northern Lights over Fredvang, Flakstadøya.
Views of Flakstadøya including Fredvang and Sund as well as Hamnøy and Reine.
Timelapse photography on Fuji X-T1, X-T2 and X-T3, video on Fuji X-T3 and DJI Mavic Pro.
Soundtrack from Planet Earth II.

Wie ist das Licht im Dezember? Ist es da nicht fast durchgehend dunkel?

Thank you. The Aurora action that night was very special, fortunately it was a mostly clear night in a week full of snow storms.

@@scubaachim I'm sure Torbay Council would figure out an innovative way to make it look like shit!😃

very nice. you should try 60fps

60fps looks great (here's another timelapse I did in 60fps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXanYoZoo6qef8U), but it wasn't an option for this video. My drone is quite old and only capable of 30fps, the timelapse is made of 000's of stills. Given the amount of stills I've shot, going to 60fps would produce very short clips, if I slow them down in post, then you're back to 30fps. The aurora is moving quite fast so I would have to switch to video rather than timelapse for 60fps, which wouldn't give you the same quality. It's a trade off.

Great! What lenses did you use for the wide angle aurora shots?
@scubaachim
@scubaachim 2 ай бұрын
The Samyang 12mm F2, Fuji 14mm F2.8 and the Fuji kit lens 18-55 F2.8, all used wide open.

@@scubaachim Thank you! I also use the Samyang 12 mm with my fuji camera but I seem to have problems to get really sharp pictures.

@@andreabuser11 Focusing at night time is tricky, particularly because on most lenses the infinity focus marks are rather inaccurate. Best to try during the day and remember where the sweet spot is. There is always a (normally very remote) chance that your particular lens is faulty.
