Checked out the video of your new home tour. Congrats btw. One question.. Where's your wood stove? I thought most homes had them there for back up heat if nothing else.

Most homes up here have them, but ours did not. We wanted to put one in this year but never got to it. So, next year we will be installing a cast iron stove to help heat our house. They are great backups in order to keep the house heated. We will definitely be doing a video of us installing it. We just have to wait for spring and the snow to melt first because we have to cut a hole in our roof.

Get those gloves on! When I moved to AK I learned quickly to not go outside without gloves during the winter. One year we moved at -21, brrrrr.......

Yeah we totally forgot to put our gloves on! 🤣 We always have gloves in our car! -21 is quite cold and I will be bundled up for that type of weather! 🥶 Thank you so much!

I think you guys have a great concept for a good channel, but your not bringing enough of living and exploring Alaska, even show us some cooking you do or more preparing for winter. I wish you luck, make it into a more interesting channel, all my best

Hey! Is all that space behind the greenhouse your property as well? If so, any plans for it? 😁Also, any regrets moving to Alaska? Any restaurants or stores you miss in the lower 48? What do your parents thing about this journey you two took together? 🤔😁

Your House looks as if you had moved it along with you…lacks de feeling and identity of Alaska’s living. Where is the wooden stove? Sorry guys, that’s how I feel about what you show all of us. Nonetheless, I wish you all the luck living in this beautiful part of the world which is my beloved Alaska. Stay safe and happy!

Yes we just bought this house this year. The stove goes in next year. We are financially responsible and didn’t put ourselves in debt when we first moved here. We are taking our time on decorating our house. As soon as we become residents (in definition to getting a hunting and fishing permit) we will go hunting and having furs in our house. Out of curiosity, what does an Alaska home look like? We have definitely been giving it a cabin vibe to the best of our ability right now! Thanks for watching!
