@indosydneyfishing Жыл бұрын
Hey mate, it wasn't even squid jig, it was a normal jig that look like a small bait fish.

I remember when we first met was 2 years ago at that spot, Owen, we were both using soft plastics back then haha. Good to see that spot still producing great fishing! Wish I can go back there more often but I live on the other side of the Bay now haha, might be time for a trip there when it gets warmer! Great video bro!

Nice! I live 2 minutes away from that spot and usually fish soft plastics at night. Moght have to try some hard boddied and heavier gear. Still trying to catch my first king fish!

Hey mate nice video. What gloves are you using. Can you link it please.
Hey mate was wondering what size rod reel etc. you’d recommend to get started with kingy fishing similar to what u do? Also Great vid keep up the good work🤙🤙

Hey mate thanks for watching 🤙. It’s all depend on your price range bro. In general, most people that begin used Palms shoregun 992 (20-40gram) and Daiwa Certate 4000D (2019 model). I pick 2019 model because it’s lighter. Jigging requires lots of energy and these setup not only able to fight kingfish but also make you less tired.

Ok thx for the info Also what lb braid and leader would u recommend as a good all rounder? I’ve been told 40lb braid and 50lb leader but thought that might be a bit overkill.
@indosydneyfishing2 жыл бұрын
@@bayfavfishing5360 25-30lb braid and 30-40lb leader I reckon.

Hey bud. Just wondering what brand and sizes assist hooks do you use for your 10 20 30 gram jigs. Thanks Great video brother. Keep up the good work. Just subscribed to the channel.

Hi John. Thanks for subscribed! We always used the hooks came from the purchased first. If broken or got stolen by tailors (usually) we replaced with gamakatsu 2/0 - 4/0.
