Winter Mountain and Forest Photography In New Zealand

Your images make me wanna come to New Zealand. I do have a trip planned hopefully next year to Europe and then maybe New Zealand the following year. I love these type of scenes as well. Definitely helps you can bracket a shot like that as well. I've done that in the password for the zoom lens. I'm lucky because I use a GFX camera and the dynamic range is just crazy so it's not such an issue for me. I like what you said about finding images along the way and slowing down as well.

Hi Will you mentioned w lthe Mountain edit you were using the vivid profile from camera. Do you personalize your profile in camera? With Sony which profile do you use most? Im assuming its Raw plus JPEG?

RAW only with VV profile. This raises the shadow detail slightly and adds some vibrance to the colour. Once on the computer it is flat raw file but I like having the profile set just to make shooting more enjoyable and seeing a better representation out in the field.
