It probably lightened up your moods so that going back to work wasn't so bad. I loved seeing the kids standing in wait with their containers of snowballs. That was definitely priceless. I've found the hardest thing is, I will be doing something and turn to tell him about it and..... I've been trying to get my roof fixed too, and I found out I need a new one. 😔😢. A lot of other jobs to take care of and with the funeral home costs??? It just gets a bit overwhelming. But you have to keep trying right?. 😔❤️🙏🙏🙏. I've been looking for resources to help as much as I can. I don't want to take away from anyone else either. Maybe someone who has little or nothing. So many Vets and families out there that need help.😢😢💔💔. I count the blessings I do have, and I'm so grateful for my children and grandchildren, and because I'm alone now, I'm even more grateful for my support dog. ❤️. Have to say I wasn't sure about the concrete siding at first, but it looks great. The air gap behind should also help to insulate the walls. I built my cabin walls from whole pallets and the air gap works a treat...cool when it's hot outside and vice versa. As long as you show up ...I will too. Really enjoying the build.

Hi@@YAUUN I'm really interested in using waste materials for housing. Suits my budget too.Too much waste and poisonous materials in the construction industry. Just thought I'd try it, and it worked.The base plate is made from reusing 100 year old beams from the demolition of an old house. They were selling it as firewood! I clad the outside with board and batten...burnt yakisugi style to preserve and protect the wood.Much of the furniture was found roadside...some really nice things, repaired and upcycled. It's a very soothing place to spend time in.

You should look into a central wood boiler. We live in NC and just got one this year. Can't say enough good things it. Heats water and the house and could heat your hot tub. Wood stays outside, so no mess or dust but the luxury of the wood heat. Look into it. It is great. Also, love you guys and watching the build. Keep on keeping on.

To help keep your hands warm using Atlas gloves, put a HOT HAND under the glove on the back of your hand. If it's snowing out then put a latex glove on underneath. Your hand will stay dry and warm. Learned this over the years working construction. Good luck.

Well done. The snow was not a problem, only a hiccup that you simply worked around. I have made a habit of not allowing the word problem to be used, but use the word challenge instead. Problem is a negative word, but a challenge always has a solution. You may have to look sideways or experiment, but there is always a solution. Keep up the good work.

Jeremy, a suggestion for cold hands - wear those dollar store one size fits all gloves under your work gloves. That's what I do under a size bigger gardening gloves. It helps keep my hands and fingers warm. You can also get flocked work gloves in Men's sizes.

Horses don't go inside bcuz of snow. They like the snow. Didn't you see them running & kicking up their heels? You just have to make sure their water doesn't get too cold (best if between 40°F - 50°F so they drink plenty so they don't colic) and that they have plenty of hay so that they never run out bcuz that is what keeps them warm.

hey i have a glove tip for you. wear latex gloves under your work gloves, it keeps you dry and warm. i work out in the weather year around, and have done this for about 14yrs. it works great for me
