My opinion on Bregman: If Detroit is being mentioned still along with Houston and Detroit then I believe that is where he wants to play if either New York or Houston doesn't give him the cotract he truly wants. If he signs with Detroit then he'll probably want a similar contract to what Correa got at first. Something like 3 years with opt outs after every year. Sasaki is probably still mentioned to Detroit because the Tigers have Chris Fetter. He won coach of the year and Sasaki has openly said he wants to be on a team that can help develop him for MLB success. I'd argue to say this is the best location for that

If Scott Harris signs Bregman I will take back all of the bad things I've said about him. Bregman is a winner, and he's exactly the kind of role model I want around Clark and McMonigle once they arrive in Detroit.

Scott Harris knows what we're need a right handed bat that can make a difference but he. Refuses to spend the money to get one that's a big mistake and if he blows this off season I'm done with the Tigers 😭

Chrissy is fortunate that the MLB divisions are drawn up geographically.. So he has gotten away with operating the Tigers like a small market franchise, instead of a mid-market payroll, which is what the ballclub is in!! Other ballclubs like the Commanders, Royals, Rays, Twins ect ARE small market from inception, but the Tigers should have emulated the Cardinals as they are much more alike market-wise. For the storied Tigers to have only 4 World Series championships all told is pretty lame...even considering the Cubs, White Sox, and Indians/Commaders historic futility.

Wish you had a little more detail about Sasaki, considering he said he doesn’t have to be on the west coast, and would prefer to land with a smaller team, and with Chris Fetter winning coach of the year, I think the Tigers have a VERY good chance, if we don’t get him so what? Sasaki looks great. He needs to bulk up and stay limber. Love the height. MLB seasons are more brutal than Japan seasons. Meada could be a factor that could lock Roki in with the Tigers.

Young needs major league at bats to decide if he's staying or going. 1500 ABs is my measure. Until then he's a we don't know. That goes for anyone on the roster because people forget the Tigers are really young and don't have concrete positions.

Hey Tigers fans! I wish ya'll would actually listen to the words of Scott Harris. From day 1, he's said multiple times he's gonna build this team through their farm system, then sprinkle un some "veteran" players on 1-2 year deals along the way, in hopes of squeezing every ounce of good baseball these veterans have left; while continuing to develop their young talent into capable consistent big leaguers. That's what he has said and continues to say! Ya'll just don't want to accept it. What does that mean? It means NO GIANT CONTRACTS FOR FREE AGENTS ENTERING THE PRIMES OF THEIR CAREERS! That also means guys like Skubal and Greene will play out their contracts with the Tigers, and either be traded for younger talent before they hit free agency; or they will let them walk in leu of more draft capitol. The Tigers under Harris are never gonna overpay for any player! Not even their own guys!! That's why the draft and development of their minor leaguers is so important. They are the currency by which this entire organization will be built. Welcome to the new MONEY BALL ERA IN DETROIT! That's what this is. And we all have to accept it. So please stop whining about it! The days of the Ilitch family handing out blank checks is over! Chris is not his dad! He watched his dad spend big $$$ from 2006 to 2016 with nothing to show for it except to WS losses to the Giants and Cardinals. Two teams with smaller payrolls and less overall talent. So explain to me why he would duplicate the same mistakes his dad did? It's why it also took almost a decade to dig the Tigers out if the hole they found themselves in up until last year.
