A self inflating bed pad is the way to go. I use a Coleman pad. While it's filling with air, I'm able to tackle other chores at the campsite. Then just before bedtime, spread out the blankets and sleeping bag.

Ok cause I'm in the USA and a essential worker I'm binge-watching your videos. I have questions since I'm still kinda new here. 1- how long have you been doing this? 2- why tear it down? 3- do you hunt? And if so are there videos of you that I'm missing? 4- how far have you traveled? 5- if you have where have your favorite travels been? 6- where else do you want to/have plans to travel to?

Time spent studying film & cinematography was not wasted!! 👏👏👏yet another great video with good lighting in the circumstances. Anyone can shoot with a single light source in the dark - it just gives harsh highlights and hides half the subject in black shadow. Thanks for going that extra yard on things Andy....it's not wasted on me, even if it was a 'simple shot' of veggie prep. Some good night time campfire shots too....loved the sequence where all you can hear is footsteps in the leaf-litter & the pheasant calling. 😎👏👏👏
