You said in one video, when you were painting in Germany “Who wants to watch someone paint?” (or something like that) and the definite answer is “I DO!” I would love see more of that. It doesn’t have to be step-by-step, but it would be nice to peek over your shoulder, maybe hear your thoughts and critiques before, during or after your plein air adventures. Fist of all, what a great video! I learned a lot seeing how you simplify the scene. Secondly, how on earth you are able to create something out of nothing is beyond me. Hi Jessica, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and the painting 😀. As to finding a scene to paint, it really comes down to shapes and patterns of light and dark. In time, your brain will look for interesting combinations of shapes and contrast and will care less about whether the scene is a peaceful meadow or stacked cars in a junkyard.
