We don’t usually have bad winters on the South Wales west coast, but it does happen occasionally, so I have my matches, candles, a wicker basket full of blankets, plenty of tins, flour to make bread, UHT milk and teabags and logs for my wood stove. As long as I can have my stove lit, there is heat, light and means to cook on the top if necessary.

We have heavy frost here in our part of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 no snow yet it’s supposed to be on Saturday we have prepared hot water bottles candles and we have a gas stove to cook on in case everything goes out have a blessed week Jill 🌹💕🌹

Making the same preparations here in Ohio ... we're to have ice and snow here on Friday , so I went to the store and stocked up on soup making supplies . Christmas music and movies have started on the TV ... winter is here ! Stay warm , Jill !
