Your way of painting just amazes me. We have two completely different ways of getting the job done. For every new thing I learn, new doors open and I realize that there’s even more knowledge to take in. Your way of painting has open up a new ‘’door’’ and there is so much to learn here. I really enjoyed your video and the collaboration was so much fun. 😊 Cheers!

Superb, as always! And inspiring. What tool do you use to make the tree? A piece of cardboard? I didn't get a good look. Thanks for your generosity and sharing.

This is gorgeous! It was a little frustrating not to see how exactly you laid down the water at the beginning which was crucial.
@ScottSwinson2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeanette! Thanks! I just put the water onto the top 2/3 of the page and made the bottom edge of the water rough pointy kind of tree shapes. Hope that helps it would be hard to see what I was doing from any angle I think. 👍👍

Hi Scott. (I,'m taking and loving your three courses!) On this winter painting, 1) what did you paint with the Paynes Gray, and 2) what did you paint with the Indigo? I want to try to recreate it as best I can. Thank you so much for everything!

The background of he mountain turned up so amazing… how did you pour the water? I missed that.
@ScottSwinson2 жыл бұрын
Hi Shelley! I just poured the jar of water over the top of the whole thing out on the driveway. Then bought it back into the studio to paint on. 👍👍

A few other colours! But it would be good to do some more experiments! 👍👍

I love this and other mountain ones you have done in the past. Always makes me want to go and do a cold blue mountain scene. Thanks Scott. Will check out Christians work too. I see he is Swedish. I follow The Danish Painter. She makes me want to experiment with large acrylic paintings, but not yet. Have you seen her?
@ScottSwinson2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jen! Yes I paint less mountains than I used to! I’ll check out the danish painter. I do want to explore large acrylics on canvas at some stage but not right now. 🙏

This is very nice. I'm painting mountains in the last time and was expecting that you would do a bit more to give the mountain more shape. Not much, but I find it has too less expression. But this is just what I think...but anyway I like the way how your paintings develop.
@ScottSwinson2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rohi! I wanted the mountain to be something but not everything. I wanted the trees and the white beneath them to be the subject. 👍👍
@rohi8812 жыл бұрын
@@ScottSwinson Hi Scott, thank you for your comment. It was just my wish that you would make the mountain to your subject.....to see how you would do it.
