I’m the one with the Baja Bayrunner. Good to see you got some. I left with 4. Didn’t need anymore than that. Great day of old school Bonita fishing. Most mine came on the bonita feather. When these things are bleed and ice right away they are excellent eating. Great for sashimi and poke. I usually smoke what we can’t finish in the first day or 2.

I agree mostly because Baja feels like a different planet, makes me sad I can’t catch a mahi from shore just thinkin about it 😭😭😭 I love the old kayak content more too but everyone’s gotta level up at some point 😢. Good For Mikey for being able to level up

Bonito are always a blast. We fished them with 8 lb line and a 3 hook silver Rapala back in the 60s and 70s in Quivira Basin in San Diego. Weren't huge but what a blast. 👍👍

I think you’re missing an opportunity to showcase the soloskiff a little more. Get a new one and pimp it out.. marine mat kit, yak attack gear and such. We are seeing old and worn out soloskiff with a missing grab bar. Please don’t take this as negative criticism, it’s a s meant to build you up. Definitely want to see you succeed. If you ever come to south east Florida, let me know. I own two and can let you borrow one
