Winter Steelhead Fishing in a BLIZZARD - CRAZY CONDITIONS!! | BAD ASH OUTDOORS

Over Christmas break, Matt and I drove up to Oregon to spend a week fishing for steelhead, and catching up with friends, old and new. We planned the trip months in advance and were committed to going. What we didn't plan on was having to drive and fish through a record setting weather event!

I had to think about that rig that you were Tree for a little bit one might think that was an accident but upon closer Observation that money weights in tandem or swivel might provide a different drift and more drag the bottom I often offset my hooks as well helps with an entry point into jaw of the fish awesome Scenery would love to see if there’s somewhere old stomping grounds

I live within minutes of good if not excellent steelhead fishing at times. It’s amazing to fish by a waterfall loud enough to become inured to the noises and world around you. Then catch the fish of a thousand cast regularly and not sit in despair like I’ve seen so many do. Great times with good friends. Your turn ! I can’t even walk to a spot now.

@@BadAshOutdoors also a really cool college. And a tough one to get into. I used to live in Napa for 6 years. There's some great fishing on the Sacramento River, but you probably already knew that. If you ever drive up 101 again, you should stop by the Eel River, near Scotia. The fishing is pretty awesome.
