What a day, Bill. One to remember, glad you got it on film. Lots of dropback fish. Fishing those log jams is sketchy but rewarding when you land them. Beautiful peaceful day out there, goes to show you that untouched water gets you more fish hook ups. Your whole day was on a high note. Loved the float drops.

I loved the "search & rescue" comment! I can remember quite a few years ago I walked way up stream at Folly's on Elk Creek. It was a solid mile and at 72 years old and nearing dark I was worried would I get back to the car before it got dark.

Very nice going Bill. Love the float drops. I must say you are blessed with such a terrific steelhead fishery on your side of the lake. Your stocking program is to be commended. Up here on the north shore of lake ontario we are not so fortunate. Our steelhead numbers are on the decline sadly. The creeks don't get the runs they used to get. We have about 5 or 6 creeks/rivers east of where I live that are within an hour drive from 3 million people. Pressure is high and numbers are down. What's very satisfying to see is as you are panning up and down stream with your camera you don't see another soul, you have the river to yourself. A different story up here. Once again very nice going and keep up the good fishing. Greetings from Toronto.
