When disconnecting the plow make sure he hoist is all the way down, that is the up-and-down ram then you have room to push the head back to release the pins, If you notice the hoist it’s not all the way down now and the chain is tight therefore not enough travel room for the head to go back. By the way you guys are great

I forgot to float it and push the ram all the way down one time. I was swearing for about 1/2 hr when i tried to put it back on lol.

We have the same problems with salt and brine here but we have very few self serve car washes around. I have been testing a product similar to Fluid Film called Krown. Its out of Canada and Its a spray that actually has many purposes. Besides being a great lubricant I spray my frame rails once a year and it has done a great job of preventing rust. Not cheap but I figure that if I spent 100 bucks on car washes I can spend a little extra and coat it and not have to worry about finding a self serve wash, especially since it stays below freezing most of the winter. It also works like the cooking spray Ranae used on the shovel. Get ready for spring!
