My boyfriend has a Hurricane leaf blower similar to yours that will start but stalls after about 20 minutes. We're in CT, any suggestions on what could be wrong? By the way, your child is adorable, thank you for any help you may provide.

You can't forgo the crankcase gasket as it's used as a shim to get the proper spacing. Sorry my friend for the criticism but your viewers need to refer to the service manual, as different engines go together differently, piston ring orientation, connecting rod orientation etc. I've rebuilt dozens of engines and always refer to my cheat sheets with the information from the service manuals. The service manuals are free on-line.

You put the rods on backwards! the bevel sides need to go against the side of the crank journal, this give the proper clearance between the rods. The way you have it the rods are binding against each other, this is why you have so much friction when turning it over by hand. WD40 is not a lubricant, don't use it as assembly lube.

If you’re doing big properties and you wanna save your guys legs and allow them to walk the next day, because they have to push leaf blowers all day, then yes I would definitely invest in at least one of these for your business.

when replacing the seal, do you need to put locktite on the outside of the seal to keep it from leaking? Looks like the seal out of the bag has no loctite on it. I don't understand how metal to metal will seal the oil on the outside.

I didn't think the windstorm would be a good investment until I bought one. It's like a second man. I use it in tandem with a backpack blower to increase productivity. I will say I find it easier to section off the yard. I start at the end first, and take 2, 3, or 4 separate sections so your not blowing the entire large pile.

My tip to lap a valve is to put a tire valve in my drill and then push the Rubber part onto valve. That way it applies even pressure.

If installing new valves and cylinder head, do u still have to cut the valves?? Also the lifters, how do u go by removing and replacing them if failure is speculated? Thank you
