Winter Storm Harper! January 20, 2019

We got some snow in upstate NY, at least it's a cool name....

We got 6-8 inches here in NW OH. Not so much with the snow, but man the temperature really decided to try to bite us. -9 actual temp tomorrow morning.,,, ha, yeah we went to school no matter what. Now days they get a little flurry and they all shut down,,,

8 inches is not too bad, but still needs a snowblower. I agree, why is it now necessary to name a storm. If you lived in buffalo, you obviously saw much bigger storms. Check the air filter and make sure it’s not plugged. But, I think you’ll have to clean the carb 😥

We only got 6" here but as much as it blew around you'd be hard pressed to tell. Some spots look bare and other spots are several feet deep from drifts. Currently 2 degrees right now. That camera view looks like the bottom of an eye tube's shadow was super imposed over the images while someone adjusted a station in and out, lol. Was that effect on purpose? The storm had no name when it passed through here, lol. Yeah, we went to school in this stuff too, but we rode the bus as it was 11 miles to school from out here in the sticks. I did walk home from school a couple of times, but in warmer weather, lol.

Actually, GWL got only 3 in. But they declared a state of emergency 2 days beforehand and everything was cancelled for the weekend!
