We added a deer feeder beside our house. I fill it with cracked and whole kernel corn for all the critters. We have dove, crows, blue jays, and all types if birds. Racoons, opossums, squirrel, and believe it or not deer. I like to see deer in the middle of the day. We have 7 regulars. For our indoor cats we have a sunflower seed feeder on the deck. I think we like to watch them as much as the cats. If you do this don't use deer corn with protein for rack development, that will get them killed. All you want to do is feed them. Feed corn is $10 for 50 lbs. deer corn is $17ish for 40 lbs. at Tractor Supply. It's worth checking prices because you'll need more. My neighbor ask if he could chip in, everyone enjoys them including our local hound dog. He 17 and doesn't chase just watch. Fancy neighborhoods have speedhumps we have deer. lol
