Love that you can take your puppers with you, I was so panicked when he was by the jerkbait. Thats the only reason I dont bring my fur baby on the boat. I’ve caught trout, king salmon and catfish on almost every type of lure out there. It was a nice hike out to the water but well worth it. Keep slayin’em!!! 👍

Great video, there is a lot of different fish in that lake but bass is the big one. I am so surprised that Folsom lake is still that low and I would say fishing should be great because of it. I grew up there and watching you fish takes me back to my teenage years. In high school I was always at that lake.😎👍🏽

I love when trout surprise you!! I once had a brown trout smashed a 5 inch segmented swim bait. I could’ve sworn it was a small mouth coming out of the cover, and ended up being a beautiful trout here in Ohio!!

It is a pretty fun lake, and it has a ton of different species. I’m glad it’s healed up too. Didn’t take too long. I plan on always wear some sort of eye protection. I do NOT want to take a hook to the eye. 🫣

Thank you 😊 For a spotted bass 3-5lbs is considered big. At least that’s what I have heard. Yeah, it’s pretty open. I think they were chasing bait fish 🤔 I’d love to land a trout on a giant jerkbait. I still think that was a trout. It was a long hike considering how low that water is right now. Winter is always down for an adventure. 🐶 I’m glad to be back. Happy New year! What an awesome day at Folsom lake! Those where some nice spots to. I love Folsom lake during winter with less crowds which makes for good fishing. The lake has definitely dropped since my last time fishing there, but awesome to see some good shore action. Thanks so much for putting out these videos, I love your passion for outdoors and watching the excitement of your dog when you get a bite. Hope you catch another whopper on your next trip.
