Hi. Just found you here I'm in St. Petersburg too but grow in grow bags on my patio. I'm glad that I found you so I can see what you grow and learn.

Just came across your videos and started a garden for the first time. I'm also in the St Pete area as well, so I'm glad I can learn from what did and didn't work for you.

Yeah, squirrels, those little SOB's! I'm a container gardener. I HAD a 25 gal pot of carrot seedlings last weekend. Sunday I had 1/2 a pot. Tues, 1/4. I love the squirrels but I have to do something.

I’m in zone 11a and I sowed my first round of seeds on New Year’s Day. I’m eagerly awaiting waiting my order of warm weather crops seeds that I purchased from Jerra’s Garden. I was so tempted to purchase a live dwarf variety banana tree from her yet I don’t think that I have any space in my limited garden space that gets enough direct sunlight for a banana tree to fruit.

Hi there! Been following your channel for a few years now and it’s the only channel that properly addresses our Florida gardening “idiosyncrasies “. I recently ordered your book and planner but have not received it. How do I track it’s delivery?
@WildFloridian2 сағат бұрын
I’m so happy that I’m so helpful for you!☺️ on the book/planner Front, we don’t do tracking because a lot of it is done manually with me and my family. But if you have some specific tracking that you’d like to do, you can always email me at wild.floridian@gmail.com. If you ordered before Monday, the majority of planners will arrive Friday to Sunday. If after that it’ll be about a week later.

I have roselle seeds. I got tyem from Jerra, but i am a little confused about them. Is it a hibiscus? Is it a plant with fruit? 😅😅😅
@WildFloridian2 сағат бұрын
Yes, and yes! Roselle is a plant in the hibiscus family. So when it flowers, the flowers will look like the ornamental hibiscus that you see and people’s yards. But unlike the ornamental hibiscus, once the flowers fade and fall off, you will be left with a Roselle fruit called the calyx. Hope but that unravel the mystery for you!☺️

If you have neighborhood iguanas they will become your roommates if you plant any variety of hibiscus that is not enclosed with maximum security level protection.
