I think people who have lived in Texas their entire lives needs to at least travel once to an actually cold state like North Dakota or Minnesota so they can stop being dramatic about how this is "cold".

People acclimate to different climates and regions. The same thing could be said about northerners who have never experienced a Texas or Georgia summer. Somebody in Siberia could say the same thing about American northeners as well. Everything in the south is built around summer, not winter.

We work all year around for many many years ( decades) We can afford staying in home 🏡 once in a while. 😊. That’s the reason we experienced the invasion from the north and west. 😮
