Why can't we ever get a news report solely on the quietness of the snow drops and peace of mind it brings and time to sit and ponder about the important things of life of relaxation of the soul? Why does always have to be centered around economics of flights snd traffic and distressful oriented? Who are the owners and producers? The winters have been really mild for some years. We had a lake effect snow storm in Cleveland over Thanksgiving weekend and the advisory didn’t come until Thanksgiving day. That’s not normal November weather. And a week prior, we had a lot of snow that melted in 2 days. Since then, it’s been back to back. And other states just simply aren’t built to handle snow like this.

Cars sliding on ice, power outages and below freezing temperatures, people going out to shovel and having fatal heart attacks because their bodies are under too much stress from the physical exertion and cold.. lots of ways to die in a snowstorm

Its unfortunate, and many people cant afford to prepare for long term power outages in freezing temps. Without natural gas/propane/ kerosene appliances it can be a death sentence, and it certainly was for some. May they rest in peace.
