Beautiful arrangement! Why no white after Labor day? I am British and we do not have Labor Day.

That's an excellent question, Isabel! It was really a fashion rule because white clothing was deemed vacation attire and generally worn during the summer months only. Labor Day, which is usually in early September, signaled the end of summer and that's when people began to pull out their fall clothing and move to darker colors and more heavy weight pieces. That's just a brief summary, but we hope it helps. Thank you very much for taking the time to watch our show, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
