Hope everyone is having a good week?
Last weekend I took myself too Thetford forest for a little wild camp. I haven't had a tarp and divvy camp for a while so thought id best dust off the DD 3x3 for a night under the stars.
I had myself a couple of nice beers and cooked some steak in a red wine soaked tea towel on the coals to round off a vey enjoyable solo wild camping adventure!

Nice little overnighter. I think when it comes to Thetford Forest it pays to push on in further to find a spot that's well away from tracks, roads & properties. But great job in convincing Richard of your good intentions. I take my driving licence with me if I'm staying out. That way I'm not only having to convince them that I'm not the 'In lockdown but can't get to Benidorm' type, but also showing good faith by proving who I am. Not had to yet but I think it'll go a long way towards being left to get on with things. Food looked banging btw👍

Yes, totally agree, the problem with thetford is you’re never really that far away from anything 😅 I think if you’re ever caught (this has been my 1st time) and you chat with the person it will become clear we’re responsible adults who love nature and have no intentions of leaving a mess or litter. It’s irresponsible people who give us respect wild campers a bad name. It’s a shame really, but think we just need to keep pushing the LNT ethos. Nooo, I’ve seen people do awesome Timelapse’s with GoPro’s but I’ve never tried, I use my camera for them (cannon g7xii) ahhh you need to try a tarp camp Karen, just get a head net… or a sock in your mouth? 🤷🏻‍♂️😆 Thanks as always, and catch up soon x

Looked like a good one mate. I'm more a steak well done sort of guy, an hour on each side....! The lighting for the night shots was excellent, so many vids are ruined because you can't see what is happening, but you got that spot on. Good to see you never tried any ambitious drone shots in the woods, i seem to remember a pretty bad landing last time..! Look forward to your next outing, stay safe.

Dude try Morrisons in future they still have butchers on site who tend to stock the shelves with some fairly decent cuts of meat, sadly everything was looking a bit wimpy when I went last night but it was late (cling filmed packets come from there butcher)
